Ishmale added that although he is excited about his achievement he feels worried about the social aspect, stating that he had to forego it in high school due to him being the youngest in his class.

“I’m a little nervous about the social aspect. I had to give that up in high school. I’ve always been the youngest in my class,” Ishmale said.”It was hard work. But this is the first step for the rest of my life,” he added.

His extraordinary academic excellence made him skip two grades while in middle school and was able to also high school classes in middle school which catapulted him into his senior year two years earlier than usual.
