A 17-year-old African boy named Jeramy Botwe has graduated from Harmony School of Advancement in Houston, United States with a 4.51 grade point average which earned him acceptance to 15 universities.
Jeramy Botwe graduated with an outstanding 4.51 grade point average from Harmony School of Advancement in Houston Texas in the United States. He was accepted into all the 15 schools he applied to.
Out of the 15 acceptances, Jeramy was accepted into eight Ivy League schools. The universities he was accepted into are Harvard University, Princeton University, Yale University, Stanford University, Brown University, Dartmouth University, and Rice University.
Together with Columbia University, Cornell University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Duke University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Texas, the University of Houston, and the University of Chicago.

While in high school, Jeramy was not only active with his studies, but he was also part of many curricular activities. He was the president of the National Honor Society, director of Key Club, co-captain of a science club, and treasurer of his student council.
“It’s an honour to be accepted at one Ivy League institution, but to be accepted at all these different schools is really humbling,” he said. Jeramy attributed his success to his father for always encouraging and cheering him on.
Jeramy’s father, Kenneth Botwe said he left Ghana for the United States as a teenager and served in the Air Force. He added that he raised Jeramy and his sister, Julianah, as a single parent stating that seeing how much his son has achieved has really made him proud.

“I was very excited, but I have to tell you, I kind of expected it because I’ve seen how hard he works. In fact, in eighth grade, my son was voted ‘most likely to succeed,” Kenneth said.
Jeramy said his achievement is a result of his hard work noting that he studies at least two hours a day, plans his weeks in advance, and believes that people should always try to better themselves.
Jeramy said he is yet to choose which of the university to continue his education but he plans to become a doctor specializing in treating Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
