17-year-old boy graduates US university before finishing high school, graduates with outstanding 4.00GPA

A 17-year-old boy named Jordan Leslie has graduated with a degree from Lakeshore Technical College, United States despite still being a high school student. He graduated with an outstanding 4.00 grade point avearage.

Jordan Leslie is a teen from Sheboygan, Wisconsin who bagged an associate degree in Information Technology at Lakeshore Technical College months before earning his high school diploma.

“I’ve never known anyone nearby that’s done that before so I was like, ‘You know what, I’d love to do it; I’d love to try and go for it. And if I go for something I’m going to give it my best. That’s just how I am,” he told Fox 6 Now. 

Jordan said after he left public school to enroll at a charter school named George D. Warriner High School, he met a student advisor who saw greater potential in him at just then-15 years old and then made a suggestion.

“Once he saw how ambitious I was, he said, ‘Let’s try something new,’ and that’s when we decided I would go for my associate’s before I graduate,” Leslie said. “It seemed kind of far-fetched at the time, but once he brought up the idea, I was like, ‘I’m going to do that,” he added.

He enrolled for an associate degree while at the same time taking high school classes with the assistance of his student advisor. Though Leslie was juggling both classes together, he said it did not make him feel like an underachiever.

Leslie maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average at both Lakeshore Technical College and George D. Warriner High School. He will also be graduating high school as the valedictorian of his set.


In another similar story, a 17-year-old boy named Ryland Dickman has earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Liberty University, Virginia, United States despite still being a high school student.

Rylan Dickman who is a student at Covenant High School, Chalrtesville enrolled in Liberty University, United States through the school’s online degree program and was able to graduate with a degree in Business Administration. Read more about Rylan HERE.
