A brilliant 17-year-old girl named Amber Bennet has graduated from both High School and University in the same week running both her high school Diploma program and bachelors degree simultaneously.
Amber Bennet obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a 3.6 Grade Point Average from Notre Dame College, Cleveland in the United States and earned her High School diploma at Ohio Connections Academy same year through the College Credit Plus (CCP) program.
The College Credit Plus program in Notre Dame College allows student to enroll in college-level classes that count as credits toward both their high school and bachelor’s degrees which helps them save time and money.
Amber achieved both her high school diploma and bachelors degree in less than three years. She took online classes of the Ohio Connections Academy and earned 131 college credits and more than 50 high school credits.

“It feels surreal to finally be at this moment after all this hard work, I’m so blessed, it really took a lot of focus and passion. I feel pride to say I graduated from Notre Dame College,” she said.
She received three medals at Notre Dame College for her high school diploma, the citizenship seal, the science seal and the honors seal. The president of Notre Dame College, Dr. J. Michael Pressimone described Amber as an inspiring ambassador for the power of education.Â
Amber had also earlier earned two associate degrees through the CCP program. She bagged her Associate of Arts degree at the age of 14,and an Associate of Science degree at the age of 15, earning both of the degrees with honor.

She credited her parents for her success, thanking them for support and opportunity they gave her to enroll in the CCP program.
Amber said she plans to be a clinical counsellor as that would enable her to help people. She also stated that she has been accepted into Ursuline college in the United States where she will be taking her Masters degree in counselling.
“I want to be a licensed professional clinical counselor. So, for me, my educational career isn’t done yet. I want to go to Ursuline College for their master’s program in counseling and art therapy,” she said.
She encouraged teens like her who want to enroll into the CCP program to remained focused and believe there’s no limit to what they can achieve.
“If you put your mind to it, you can do it. And as long as you stay focused and you’re determined, there’s really nothing that you can’t do. Just dream big, shoot for the stars because you can do anything,” she said.
