An exceptional 19-year-old lady named Amara Legget has achieved outstanding success in the United States after she bagged her associate’s degree at 16, her bachelor’s degree at 19, and went on to become a Software Engineering Consultant.
Amara, a young author in the United obtained her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at St. Leo’s University, Florida in the United States.
Talking about how she earned her achievement at a young age, she said she took her first college class at 14 years old with the help of Dual Enrollment while a student in high school, and two years later, she graduated with an Associate of Science degree 10 days after she earned her high school diploma.
She said it was possible because she went to a Junior High School that allowed her to take high school classes in middle school and she entered high school with 7 high school credits.

While dual enrolled In college and high school, Amara earned 61 college credits as well as 21+ high school credits to graduate high school and college at 16. She earned her associate’s degree at Columbus State Community College, United States.
Upon completion of her associate degree for free, Amara said she applied for scholarships for her bachelor’s degree but she was rejected. She enrolled at the university to study for a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Information Assurance.
During her studies, she took two semesters to complete an internship, travel the country to speak, and launched her book, The Strategy Mind of A Young Legend and she was able to build a brand as an entrepreneur.
After her graduation, Amara launched a Dual Enrollment Company. She said she started the company to fill a need in a growing industry.
Amara said the ability for students to take college classes in high school for free has existed for generations, often with different names so she felt it is necessary for every student to have the same opportunity as herself.
Aside from the bachelor’s degree, Amara also gained work experience in different fields while at the university. She was a marketing intern who had the chance to work closely with the design and front-end development of websites
Amara was also a software strategy & architecture intern with the opportunity to design and code a static website and a security assurance intern who specialized in the configuration management of applications.
