Hauwa advised aspiring entrepreneurs and women who wants to venture in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Masters) to persevere and take advantages of every opportunity that come their way.
”My one piece of advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is to not give up on their goals. It definitely gets hard sometimes, and you are allowed to take breaks or a step back when you need it. But that should still not be an excuse to give up on your dreams, no matter what anyone tells you,” Hauwa advised.
”There are so many opportunities for people out there, especially the ladies because more people are trying to get more ladies into the field so that there will be a gender balance. I would advise ladies interested in STEM to take advantage of such opportunities as they are particularly useful,” she added.
Hauwa said she will take up employment for a few years after her National Youth Service, gain some experience, then later become an entrepreneur where she can generate employment and contribute to improve Nigeria’s economy.
