23-year-old Lady graduates from UK university while nursing her new-born twins, celebrates achievement

A 23-year-old Lady from the United Kingdom, Kay Shanice has celebrated earning her Bachelor’s degree after having to drop out due to pregnancy and return as a nursing mother her twin boys.

Kay Shanice who earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology narrated that she dropped out of university after getting pregnant at the age of 19. However, she did not make her situation the end of her educational journey.

After giving birth to twins – two boys, Kay Shanice decided to re-enrol in university to earn her degree. At the age of 23, she finally graduated from one of the United Kingdom’s universities with a psychology degree.

“4 years ago I dropped out of university because I fell pregnant. In 2 days I will have completed my psychology degree, whilst being a full time mum to these crazy boys,” she wrote on Twitter.

“I can’t wait for our next chapter,” she added. She expressed happiness in being successful despite focusing on both parental duties and academics simultaneously.

In another story, Montoya Timaya Major from the United States earned three degrees from Nova Southeastern University at a time she single-handedly nursed her newborn twin.

Montoya Timaya who narrated her struggles and success on Facebook said she had to go through a lot of challenges alone which included having a C-section to deliver her twins. Despite all that, she was proud to have earned a second Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Sonography and a Master’s in Health Science.
