24-year-old African lady graduates Law School, celebrates achievement

A 24-year-old African lady named Mary Darkwah has achieved the feat of being called to the bar as a certified Lawyer in Ghana.

Mary Darkwah was inducted into the Ghana Bar Association after she successfully passed her professional course at the Ghana Law School. She joined the associations of certified legal practitioners in Ghana.

Mary obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law with a focus on Criminal Justice (LL.B) at Wisconsin International University College. She sahred her achievement on becoming a lawyer on her instagram with pictures of her in her robe and wig.

After she bagged her bachelors, Mary went on intern at GHone TV as she also had interest in Media apart from law according to her bio.

The General Manager of GHone TV,  Nana Aba took to Twitter to congratulate her on her achievement. ”Congratulations to our 24-year-old newsroom intern. We are proud of you, Mary Darkwah Esq,” she said.


In another story, a young blind man named Thabang Manamela has finally achieved his dream of becoming a lawyer as he bagged a master’s degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

Thabang Manamel was at birth partially blind and was diagnosed with glaucoma, which resulted in him losing his eyesight at an early age.  Read more about Thabang
