A 27-year-old brilliant Nigerian who goes by the name Kedei Ibiang has beaten over 7,947 applicants to emerge one of the 56 winners of the 2022 Mandela Washington Fellowship.

Kedei Ibiang celebrated her feat through her Linkedin handle, she announced that she has arrived at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, United States to join her colleagues from The University of Georgia, Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
Kedei had earlier before winning the award bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Calabar, South-South, Nigeria.
She has since her graduation enrolled for several Diploma Degrees at the Copenhagen University in Denmark, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the University of Washington in the United States.

Annoncing that she won the 2022 Mandela Washignton scholarship, she said: “I arrived Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport as part of 56 Fellows chosen from Nigeria for the 2022 Mandela Washington Fellowship, out of over 8,000 applications received and about 180 semi finalists interviewed.”
