A 94-year-old woman named Amy Craton has achieved her dream of earning a college degree 50 years after she dropped out. She graduated from Grambling State University, in the United States.

Amy, from Hawaii, obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and English through an online program at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) with a perfect 4.0 grade point average according to the university’s website.

She initially enrolled to get her bachelor of arts degree in 1962 but had to drop out of school to raise her four children. Because of her long distance and health, Amy was surprised by the university with a graduation celebration in her home.
