Aaliyah Barrington-Johnson, a young woman from Florida, has achieved a remarkable milestone by earning a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Science from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) in Tallahassee, United States.
Her accomplishment places her among the 0.5% of African American women actively shaping the future of U.S. farming.
Celebrating her achievement on Twitter, Aaliyah expressed her pride in breaking barriers in the agricultural industry. “Proud to represent the 0.5% of African American women shaping the future of U.S. farming. M.S. in Agricultural Science,” she wrote.

Before pursuing her master’s degree, Aaliyah earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business Operations from FAMU.
