A young African man from South Africa, Dennis Ngango has earned a Master of Arts in Film and Media Studies with distinction from Goldsmiths, University of London, through the prestigious Chevening Scholarship.
Sharing his achievement on LinkedIn, Dennis reflected on his remarkable journey, transitioning from completing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Pretoria to creating YouTube videos on his father’s old Samsung S6, and now producing films in London.
In 2024, Dennis was awarded the fully funded Chevening Scholarship to pursue his master’s degree in the United Kingdom. He remarked that he never imagined his passion for YouTube would lead to studying filmmaking in London with a full scholarship.

The Chevening Scholarship is a highly competitive, fully funded program that enables international students to pursue any master’s course at any UK university. It covers tuition fees, accommodation, travel, and visa expenses.
