American billionaire, investor, and philanthropist, Bill Gates’s daughter, Jennifer Gates has bagged a master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University in the United States.
Jennifer Gates is the first and oldest daughter of the American billionaire, businessman, and philanthropist. She recently obtained her master’s degree from Columbia University, New york few weeks after she gave birth.
Jennifer shared a photo of herself on Instagram in her cap and gown smiling with her parents and husband, celebrating her achievements on graduating from the university.
”Master of Public Health.Thank you @columbiapublichealth for this incredible educational opportunity and the village around me who made this possible. Grateful,” she wrote.
She was also presented with an award of excellence at her graduation. “Honored to receive the Excellence in General Public Health award alongside amazing colleagues and mentors,” she said.
Bill Gates co-founded Microsoft along with his childhood friend Paul Allen. During his career at Microsoft, Gates held the positions of chairman, chief executive officer (CEO), president, and chief software architect, while also being its largest individual shareholder until May 2014.
Bill Gates launched a scholarship program in 2017. The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households.
