Narrating how her mother celebrated her for her 2nd PhD, Dr Cathy Mwangi narrated that her mother woke up early so she can be ready to walk her to school.
“This morning I honour my dear most beautiful mother…who woke up at 4:00am so she can be ready to walk me to the graduation square as I go to receive my 2nd PhD at JKUAT the same way she walked me on my first day of nursery school,” she wrote.
” I love this Woman who has walked with me with immeasureable love. I pray for you, that God continues to bless you and provide for you beyond measure. I sooo love you Mommy!!!” she added.
Dr Cathy Mwangi explained that her second PhD Degree saved her from a mental health crisis. “This PhD saved me from a mental health crisis and kept me sane. We all have weird ways of dealing with stress…for me it is laughter and pressure. I work well under pressure…I thrive under pressure…makes me forget what I have to deal with,” she wrote on Linkedin.
