A brilliant Nigerian lady named Temilade Adelakun has bagged a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria with a first-class honors. She won award at the recruitment process of Google in United States.
Temilade Adelakun obtained her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria with a first-class honor. After which she furthered on to take a Postgraduate fellowship at the Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM).
She was one of the pioneer students of the university where she majored in Management, Design, Technology and Entrepreneurship. Her excellence performance and active participation at the institution earned her a full scholarship worth $40,000 to the US.
After her postgraduate fellowship, Temilade applied to Google for a product marketing position. She won the recruitment process and was employed as an Associate Product Marketing Manager (APMM) in the consumer apps marketing team for the Sub-Saharan Africa market.

She shared her accomplishment on LinkedIn stating that she will continue to leverage data and marketing insights to better understand consumers and develop values.
‘’NooglerAlert I have joined Google as an Associate Product Marketing Manager (APMM) in the consumer apps marketing team, It’s a privilege to be a part of Google’s global marketing program. I will continue to leverage data and marketing insights to better understand consumers and develop actionable, data-driven insights that create real value for our users’’ Temilade said.

Recently she celebrated her one-year anniversary with the Google company stating that she had the chance to work on some incredible projects in the space of one year as a Noogler (Google new hire).
‘’Today marks my first Googleversary! 1 year at Google has flown by! I’ve had the chance to work on some incredible projects and learn from some of the best,’’ she wrote on Twitter.
She expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to her success. Temilade is optimistic about what the future has in store for her.
