A brilliant Nigerian-American lady named Aderinsola Oladimeji has bagged a bachelor’s degree with first class at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom.
Aderinsola obtained her bachelors degree in Business Management and Human Resources at the University of Leeds, England in the United Kingdom, an achievement she shared on her Linkedin.
”I am officially a graduate! After 4 years as a University of Leeds student, I am delighted to have graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in BA Business Management and the Human Resource (Industrial),” she said.
She also shared that she received a first on her dissertation which focused on “Exploring the Impact of Employee Resource Groups: How do these networks contribute to the career development of LGBT+ and Muslim members?”

Highlighting her achievements while at the university aside from the degree, Aderinsola said she was part of the 2022/2023 Top 40 shortlisted participants for the Black Undergraduate of the Year Awards in Partnership with Sky and Targetjobs in the United Kingdom.
She stated that she acted as the 2021/2022 Course Representative for the Business Management & Human Resource Cohort at the University of Leeds
Aderinsola also mentioned that she interned at Microsoft and had the opportunity to work with her manager, mentors, and other individuals who contributed to her professional growth with their invaluable knowledge.
She stated that she is proud of the hard work she put into her dissertation adding that she is thankful for her supervisor who guided her through. Aderinsola thanked her friends, mentors, and family for their unwavering support throughout the academic journey.
In another story, a 17-year-old girl named Amari Shepherd has emerged as the overall best-graduating student of Frederick A. Douglass High School and earned a 9.2 million dollar scholarship to study at the university.
Amari graduated from Frederick A. Douglass High School, New Orleans in the United States with a 4.62 cumulative grade point average which was the highest grade point in her class. Her outstanding performance earned her the valedictorian of her set.
She was also awarded multiple scholarships worth 9.2 million dollars and earned acceptance from 162 universities and colleges across the United States. In addition to her achievements, Amari also bagged an associate degree from Bard Early College. Read more about Amari HERE.
