Brilliant Nigerian boy scores 323/400 in JAMB despite studying in uncompleted building, wins full scholarship to university

A brilliant Nigerian boy named  Idris Abdul Rasheed Adeiza who studied in an uncompleted building in preparation for the Unified Tertiary Examination popularly known as JAMB scored an excelllent 323/400 grade earning him a full scholarship to the university.

Idris,a boy from Kogi Nigeria scored an excellent grade in the 2024 Joint Admission Matricualtion Board(JAMB) examination which recorded a 77% failure according to a statement from the board.

In the examination, Idris achieved a score of 63 in English, 86 in Mathematics and Physics, and 88 in Chemistry, totaling his overall score to 323.

The CEO of Educare, Alex Onyia shared the brilliant boy success on his Twitter stating that Idris had the second highest score in his state. He added that Idris whose father is a bricklayer and mother is a trader has no plans to further his education because of financial challenges.

Idris told the EDUCARE CEO that he wishes to study Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Minna Nigeria but becaude of financial constraints, he would learn handwork instead.

Upon hearing the wishes of Idris, the EDUCARE CEO offered to support his aademic journey to the university. However the post that Alex made gained a widespread of attention acrosss diferent social media platforms and different people offered him support.

”He scored 323 in JAMB 2024 which made him the second highest in Kogi State. His dad is a brick layer and mother a trader. He had no hopes of continuing education because no one could fund it. He is already considering learning hand work,” Alex shared.



”I spoke with him few minutes ago and has committed to supporting his education journey through the university. He wants to study Chemical Engineering in FUT Minna and I pray he succeeds well,” he added.

Alex further shared that Bere-mont Group, the owners of Bereton Montessori School and Charles Dale Memorial International School in Nigeria also offered to support Idris’s university education.

The group offered Idris a full scholarship to cover the entire duration of his university education. They also offered to suppport his seconday school with books tha can help other student to achieve sucess like Idris.

”Good News: Bere-mont Group, owners of Bereton Montessori School and Charles Dale Memorial International School Port-Harcourt, are now offering Idris Abdulrasheed Adeiza full scholarship for his entire duration in the university. In addition, they will donate books to his school to support other students,” Alex said.
