A brilliant Nigerian lady named Rukayat Odunola has bagged a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition with remarkable distinction at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Rukayat obtained her bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria before she proceeded to study for her master’s degree in the same university.
She took to Linkedin to celebrate her achievement noting that she is graduating from the University of Ibadan’s Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Public Health for the second time.
Rukayat bagged her master of science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the University. She graduated with a Cumulative Grade point of 5.7, a grade short of a distinction PhD grade.
She said the journey was filled with so many challenges mentioning the COVID-19 pandemic and the academic union industrial strike as part of the challenges she faced. Rukayat said that she also became a certified dietician in the course of the journey.
She said she is excited to have graduated successfully despite all the challenges she faced, and despite leading a class of over 60 people throughout the years she spent in the university.
Rukayat expressed her gratitude to grateful to everyone who was instrumental in the success of the program, especially her parents and supervisor, adding that she feels relieved to have completed the fulfilling journey.
Rukayat said she looks forward to what the future holds for her in the field of Public Health Nutrition and Community Nutrition. She said she will continue to advocate for Nutrition and healthy eating through the Ask A Nutritionist Consultancy.
