A Brilliant Nigerian lady named Ifeoma Amuche has emerged as the best-graduating student of South West University, China out of the 9500 National and International graduating students.
She also won numerous notable awards from the institution.
Ifeoma Amuche is a native of Oko in Anambra, Nigeria. She was a former student of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra student where she obtained Higher Diploma in Library Science before moving to China to further her studies.
Ifeoma bagged a bachelor’s degree In Chinese Language and Literature from South West University in Chongqing, China where she won as the best-graduating student of the whole university.
She was chosen as a representative of International Students in the University to make a speech on their behalf and she made the speech in the Chinese language.
Ifeoma developed a passion for Chinese culture and language when she was a child, she then decided to pursue her dream of studying Chinese when she got to China. She enrolled at South West University, China in 2019, and because of her familiarity with the culture she was able to adapt quickly to the new environment together with surviving the academic challenges.
While a student, Ifeoma excelled in her studies and participated in various cultural and social activities. She won several awards and honors, such as the first prize in the 2022 Chinese Poems Competition, the Outstanding International Student Scholarship, and also the Excellent Student Leader Award.

Ifeoma expressed her gratitude to the Chinese government and nationals for their hospitality and friendship. She learned the Chinese Language faster and was able to mentor and teach other international students.
She thanked her family and friends for their support and encouragement. She also mentioned how excited about the opportunity given to her to study in China as she gained a lot of experiences while in the country.
Ifeoma hopes to use her knowledge and skills to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between China and Africa, especially her country Nigeria.
