Brilliant Nigerian lady emerges best-graduating student with 6.90/7.00 first-class grade, wins full PhD scholarship to US university

A brilliant Nigerian lady named Basirat Rufai who emerged as the overall best-graduating student of the University of Ibadan with an outstanding 6.90/7.00 grade point has won a full PhD scholarship to a university in the United States.

Basirat Rufai bagged her bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. She graduated with an outstanding 6.90/7.00 cumulative grade point of first-class honors.

Basira was awarded the best-graduating student of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the overall best-graduating student of the University of Ibadan because of her remarkable performance.

She remained consistent in her excellent academic pursuit as she earned a full PhD scholarship to Rutger University, Camdsen in the United States.

Basira shared her achievement of winning the scholarship to study for her doctorate degree on her LinkedIn. She mentioned that she will be studying Computational  Center for Computational and Integrative Biology at Rutgers University.

She added that she was awarded the full-ride scholarship in the form of an assistantship and a Presidential fellowship for the program. ”I am excited to share that I will be starting my PhD program at the Center for Computational and Integrative Biology at Rutgers University – Camden,” Basirat wrote.
