Brilliant young girl graduates high school with 4.00GPA, wins $1.3m scholarship to 54 US universities

A brilliant young girl named Toriona Coakes has earned over 1.3 million dollars worth of scholarship offers to 54 different universities after graduating from Stuttgart High School, Arkansas United States with an outstanding 4.00 cumulative grade point.

Toriona Coakes is an Arkansas teen who graduated from Stuttgart High School. Her excellent performance earned her $1,379,000 million dollars worth of scholarships to 54 universities and colleges across the United States.

Toriona graduated from Stuttgart High School with a 4.00 cumulative grade point average. She shared her achievement of earning the scholarship on Twitter stating that she also received five full-ride scholarships.

She received full-ride scholarships from Tennessee State University, Kentucky State University, Delaware State University, University of Arkansas in Pine Bluff, and Philander Smith College.

Speaking about her achievements, Toriona mentioned that her success was a result of her hard work and determination. She added that when she is not studying, she enjoys time with family and extracurricular activities.

“I play sports, work, created a business, go to high school and college classes, maintain a 4.0, big sister to small kids, plus keep up with my social life and mental health and still make it happen,” she said.

While in high school, she served as a captain of the Lady Ricebirds basketball team, was vice president of her class, and was a member of the school’s 2021 homecoming court.

Toriona’s mother, Whitney Bradley said she is not surprised by her daughter’s achievements as she has always been a determined human since her childhood.

“Toriona has always wanted to push herself to be the best that she can be, Words cannot even describe how proud I am of her. I know she will excel in whatever she does in life,” Bradley said.

Bradley added that her daughter has mentored classmates and younger students while she served as the vice president of her class and a captain of her school’s basketball team.“She has taken on numerous leadership roles throughout her high school career. She will be graduating at the top of her class with honors,” she said.

Toriona said she is yet to make a choice out of all the acceptances she got but she plans to study political science or any related course that can help her in fulfilling her dream of becoming a criminal defense attorney.

“I am looking to study political science, but that is not really definite. I might change to something else. A lot of people have been telling me to pick something that is broad. I want to be a criminal defense attorney, so I am probably going to just study something that can get me there,” she said.
