A brilliant young girl named Mackenzie McDuffie has won a full-ride scholarship worth one million dollars to study for her undergraduate degree in 40 universities across the United States,
Mackenzie is a teen from Georgia who graduated from Westwood High School in Macon , United States with a 3.98 grade point average. She was the top sixth ranked graduating student in her set.
Her brilliant performance earned her a scholarship worth a million 500 thousand dollars and she also earned acceptance from 40 universities and colleges across the United States.
Mackenzie stated that she said she is proud of her achievement as she has come a long way and worked very hard to reach this point of success. She stated that she juggled her academics with extracurricular activities and was excellent in both.

At Westside High School, Mckenzie participated in; Track & Field, Flag Football, and Cheer where she was the 8th in the state Girls 4A Long Jump 100m, and 200m. She bagged many awards for her athletic prowess such as the school Flag Football Player of the Game.
Mackenzie earned acceptances from universities like Florida A&M University, Jackson State University, Western Goversnot University, Gordon State College, Fort Valley State University, Georgian Southern University, and more.
She mentioned that out of all the universities that accepted her, Tuskegee University is her choice. Mackenzie mentioned that she is excited to have been accepted to Tuskegee University as it is the third-ranked HBCU in the United States.
Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are institutions of higher education in the United States, established before the Civil Rights Act of 1964, primarily to serve the education needs of African American students.
Mackenzie said she is excited to have been accepted to Tuskegee University on a full-ride scholarship. She mentioned that she will be studying for her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the university.
She added that she is also going to join the university’s field and track team. Mackenzie was able to build college credits while studying at high school.
“I don’t even know where to start but I want to thank GOD first for everything! I start college in 9 days majoring in occupational therapy while being a Golden Tiger track and field athlete Thank you to my family and friends for everything,” she wrote on her Twitter.
Mackenzie expressed gratitude to her teachers and mentors stating that she will look back on their support for the rest of her life and remain thankful.
