The Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS Scholarship covers full tuition, visa and travel fees, and provides a living allowance of €1300 monthly stipend for selected candidates.

Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS Scholarship Details:

Global-MINDS is the Erasmus Mundus Master’s in the Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion and Diversity in Society.

The Global Minds Scholarship is a comprehensive 2-year study programme co-funded by the European Union with 120 ECTS, focusing on insights into contemporary social and societal issues from Social and Cultural Psychology.

The courses provide students the opportunity to acquire in-depth theoretical knowledge on themes of extreme social relevance, including diversity, inclusion and migration. Students consolidate and apply this knowledge while gaining first-hand intercultural experience.

Requirements for Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS Scholarship 2026

To be considered for the Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS Scholarship, you must:

  • have a minimum of 2.2 honours degree (undergraduate degree, Level 8 – National Qualifications Authority of Ireland) or the overseas equivalent.
  • have a minimum of 100 ECTS or equivalent experience in psychology and research methods.
    • If the applicant has not completed the 1st cycle degree at the time of application, they must send proof of enrolment, available transcripts, and a declaration of the expected date of completion (original and certified English translation as necessary) from the university that will issue the diploma.
  • demonstrate achievements in a standard English language competency test in line with UL requirements.

Benefits of Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS Scholarship 2026

The Global MINDS programme is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) programme. It includes;

  • full scholarships that cover the participation costs and an additional stipend throughout the duration of the programme. 
  • a pre-payment of €2400 in August (shortly before the beginning of their first semester, for expenses related to students’ travels etc.) , and
  • a monthly grant of €1300 per month for 24 months.

Required Documents for Global MINDS Scholarship 2026

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

  • Application Form
  • Qualification transcripts and certificates* (undergraduate diploma with transcripts and translation to English if needed– merged into one file)
  • A copy of your birth certificate or passport

If your qualifications have been obtained in a country where English is an official language, this will suffice. If your qualifications have been obtained in a country where English is not an official language, the following additional documents must be provided:

  • English translation of your qualification(s) / transcripts AND
  • English language competency certificate

To apply for the Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS Scholarship, interested and qualified candidates should;

  • When you start the application process via this form, you will be asked to convert your country-specific qualifications to the Irish equivalent.  
  • For details on country-specific qualifications, visit postgraduate entry requirements for international students.
  • You will be asked to include the details from your CV, which includes all work, voluntary and internship experience and all research experience.
  • Have your CV to hand to complete this. Next you will be asked to include your personal statement using no more than 20,000 characters.
  • We want to know how your previous experience and interests relate to your application to the Global-MINDS program.
  • Note that you won’t upload the CV and personal statement as separate files but you will type them in the form.
