European Union TESIECS Intra Africa Mobility Scholarship Details:
TESIECS (Towards Enhancing Sustainable and Innovative Environmental Change Solutions) is a partnership of University of Johannesburg, University of Zimbabwe, University of the Western Cape, University of Botswana, and the Namibia University of Science and Technology. Technical partner Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and is funded by the European Union.
The TESIECS Intra-Africa Mobility project is pleased to host a 2 week intensive workshop that is designed to empower early career researchers/academics and support personnel with tools to navigate the evolving global academic landscape.
Hosted at the University of Johannesburg, this programme bridges the gap between traditional research and modern institutional leadership.

Eligibility Requirements for TESIECS Intra Africa Mobility Scholarship 2026
To be considered for the TESIECS Intra Africa Mobility Scholarship, you must:
- be a citizen of an African country and have a valid passport.
- be available to move from the country in which you are a citizen, or where you may be studying or working.
- Be an active, permanent member of academic, administrative or technical staff.
- Students applying to the University of Johannesburg and the University of the Western Cape for degrees or accredited courses must obtain a SAQA Certificate of Evaluation of Foreign Qualifications.
