Ray Scriven announced that his wife retired from raising their two kids as they are both now adults who have recently moved out. He said he understands being a parent has not finished but the work of his wife on his children is incredible.
He said he sees a lot of people celebrate their retirement and successes but feels saddened that his wife who dedicated the past 20 years of her life to their family has just retired in silence.
“I see on social media platforms all the time retirement announcements and acknowledgements of success and feel a little saddened to be honest, that my wife who dedicated the past 20 years solely to our family has just finalized this chapter in silence,” Ray Scriven wrote on Linkedin.
