AMERICA | A brilliant young girl wins $1million scholarship to 20 US universities, set to become the first graduate in her family.
A brilliant young girl named Jaida Robinson-Clark has earned over $1 million in scholarships and acceptance letters from 20 universities across the United States.
Jaida shared her incredible achievements on her YouTube channel, including her acceptance into the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League institution, Temple University, Hampton University, Spelman College, Howard University and other top universities across the United States..
Despite the Ivy League offer, Jaida has chosen to attend Howard University, a renowned Historically Black College and University (HBCU), to pursue her undergraduate studies. Her decision was deeply personal and rooted in a desire to connect with her heritage and community.

”I didn’t feel that I would be happy attending UPenn and declining my offer of admission to Howard. It had already been a distant dream of mine, but watching the videos made me feel like I was there, and I then began not being able to see myself attending anywhere else,” Jaida said.
The deciding moment came after Howard’s virtual Accepted Students Day, which confirmed her decision to enroll. Jaida describes Howard’s Washington, DC, campus as the perfect fit—not too far from, but not too close to, her Philadelphia home.
“The day I sent my deposit to Howard was not too long after their virtual Accepted Students Day. It sold me, and there was no doubt in my mind about making the decision to formally enroll.”
As the first person in her family to attend college, Jaida’s journey represents a significant milestone. She cites her motivation as the impact her success could have on others.
“Knowing that my success can benefit others motivated me to go 10-times harder when faced with adversity in and out of school,” she said.
Currently, Jaida is studying for a Bachelors of Business Administration( BBA) in Marketing at Howard University in the United States.
