AFRICA | A brilliant Nigerian man, Adewale Ejalonibu, has achieved a major milestone in his academic journey,  graduating with a first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).

And recently, he earned admission to pursue his Master’s degree at Auburn University, Alabama, in the United States of America(USA).

Adewale's Story and How He Did It

At Auburn University, he will work in the Care Lab under Dr. Brendon Allen while serving as both a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) and Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at Auburn’s Dynamics Lab,  a testament to his academic excellence and research potential.

Celebrating his achievement on LinkedIn, Adewale reflected on his journey,  from his early days at FUTA, where curiosity and perseverance shaped him, to the mentors and recommenders who guided him along the way.

Adewale expressed deep gratitude to the Michael Taiwo Scholarship, of which he became a scholar in 2024, and to the EduOpportunity Network, where he was an awardee. These platforms provided him with mentorship and resources that played a crucial role in his journey.

“This is a dream I have carried since my childhood. The road here has been filled with hard work, resilience, and faith, and I believe this is only the beginning,” he said.
