Step 1: Check With Your Registered Phone Number
Make sure you are using the same phone number you used when you did your JAMB registration.
Step 2: You Will Need Airtime To Check
You need at least ₦50 airtime on your line because you are sending a message and it incur cost.
Step 3: Send The SMS
Once you have your phone number and there is enough airtime on it, the next step is to send the prompt for your result.
Type UTMERESULT and send it to 55019 or 66019.
Step 4: Your Result Will Be Sent
Within a few minutes, you will receive a reply containing your UTME score. Screenshot it and wait for the e-portal activation so you can print your slip.
Do not use someone else’s phone number and avoid resending the message multiple times unnecessarily.
If you do not get a response immediately, wait and try again later JAMB has also warned candidates against manipulating or altering the SMS result. This is considered a serious offence and can lead to penalties.

While SMS gives you a quick score, the online portal allows you to access more detailed information. Here is how to check online:
- Visit the official JAMB portal; https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
- Log in with your registered email and password
- Navigate to your dashboard
- Click on “Check UTME Results”
- View your full result details
