AMERICA | A determined young woman named Khadejah Stegall has triumphed over significant challenges to earn a Journalism degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in the United States.
Sharing her achievement on Linkedin, Khadejah said when she first enrolled at the university, her primary goal was to make good grades and graduate on time. However, over the next four years, she not only met but exceeded her own expectations.
She created a women’s empowerment show, won a national reporting competition, and even had the opportunity to travel abroad to Tokyo, Japan, where she connected with incredible people.

During her college journey, Khadejah faced an unexpected challenge—she became pregnant. Initially, she feared that her dreams were slipping away and that she would need to prioritize motherhood over her ambitions.
However, she soon realized that her role as a mother was not a limitation but a source of strength and motivation.
Her determination led to extraordinary accomplishments. While managing her responsibilities as a young mother, Khadejah interviewed former President Barack Obama on ESPN, discussing the balance between professional achievement and parenthood.
She also interned at one of her dream companies, Viacom, and was published in Essence magazine as a minority mom graduating from college.
Reflecting on her achievements, Khadejah expressed amazement at all she accomplished in just four years. She shared her inspiring message for others facing similar challenges: “You have to choose to keep going in the midst of adversity.
