About the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine LSTMED Ferguson Scholarships
Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine offers one of the most comprehensive scholarship programmes(opens in a new tab) in tropical medicine, infectious diseases, and global health education.
In partnership with the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Foundation, the institution is offering fully master’s scholarships to international students who are nationals of Low and Middle Income Countries (LMIC).
There is no application fee required to apply for the scholarship, and the IELTS is NOT required.

Requirements for Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine Ferguson Scholarships 2026
To be considered for the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine Ferguson Scholarships, you must:
- nationals of, and be ordinarily domiciled in a Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC)
- Be intending to return to a LMIC on completion of their course
- Be applying for the full-time, on-campus Master of Public Health International, MSc Humanitarian Studies or MSc Tropical and Infectious Diseases
- Have a conditional offer from LSTM for their preferred course.
