Mohammed recounted how he first discovered Sharda University through a newspaper advertisement while living in India. Curious about the institution, he inquired about it from the Nigerian High Commission in Delhi, who confirmed that the university accepts Nigerian students.
”In 2013, we couldn’t get him admission into a University in Nigeria. While in India that year, I saw the advert for Sharada University in a newspaper. It is one of the biggest private universities in India,” he said.
He went on to speak to someone in the Nigerian High Commission in Delhi to help find out if Sharda admits Nigerian students. It was confirmed and fortunately, Ibrahim fulfilled all the conditions necessary and he was admitted.
Upon admission, Ibrahim enrolled in a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at Sharda University, where he graduated with first-class honors. His outstanding academic performance earned him a 50% tuition discount to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Determined to maintain academic excellence, he graduated from his MBA program with first-class honors again and Sharda University awarded him another 50% scholarship to pursue his PhD.
Now, Dr. Ibrahim has completed his PhD with his dissertation titled: “Digital Value Chain and Organizational Productivity: A Study of Selected Automobile Companies in Delhi NCR.” His research explored the impact of digital transformation on the efficiency and productivity of the automobile sector in India, providing valuable insights for the industry.
Ibrahim’s academic advisor, Dr. Hari Shankar Shyam, expressed immense pride in his achievements, highlighting his dedication and brilliance throughout his academic journey.
”It is a moment of immense pride and joy as my international scholar, Dr. Ibrahim Shuaib from Nigeria, has successfully been awarded his Ph.D.! Having mentored him for over a decade—from BBA to MBA and now Ph.D., this journey has been nothing short of inspiring,” Dr Hari said.
Dr Hari further praised his exceptional brilliance, perseverance, and dedication in his academic and professional pursuits.
”His intellectual curiosity and unwavering commitment to learning have set him apart, and I have no doubt that he will achieve remarkable milestones in his career ahead,” he added.
