AFRICA | A young man who graduated with 2.2 in Nigerian University proceed to earn distinction masters degree at UK university.
A young man named Iseunifeoluwa Ajayi who graduated with a second class lower (2.2) grade from a Nigerian university, has successfully earned a master’s degree with distinction in Project Management from Teesside University, England.
Ajayi obtained his first degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ibadan (UI) in Nigeria where he finished with a second class lower (2.2) cumulative grade according to a post he shared on Twitter.
Despite not graduating with remarkable grades, Ajayi remained committed to his educational journey.

Determined to further his education, he relocated to the United Kingdom a few years after completing his degree. At Teesside University, Ajayi excelled, earning a master’s degree in Project Management with distinction.
”From 2:2 at UI to Masters with Distinction in Project Management at Teesside Uni, UK,” he said.
Ajayi’s accomplishments do not stop there; he has also been accepted for another master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at King’s College London (KCL), one of the world’s most prestigious universities, boasting a 10% acceptance rate in this highly competitive field.
Reflecting on his journey, Ajayi expressed his excitement for this new chapter in his life and hopes to share his story to inspire others who may feel discouraged. He believes that with hard work and determination, anyone can overcome challenges and achieve their dreams.
In a similar story, a young man named Ibukun Mofesola Babalola who graduated with a third class grade in a Nigerian University has bagged a first-class Computer science degree at the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.
Ibukun Babalola obtained his first bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) where he finished with a third class honors.
