A brilliant Nigerian lady, Akinleye Aishat, has achieved remarkable success after emerging as the Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Ibadan.
She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree with an outstanding record of eight distinctions, graduating at the very top of her class.
Aishat's Story and How She Did It
Her academic journey began in 2019 when she was admitted into the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Ibadan.
Reflecting on her journey on LinkedIn, Aishat shared that she started with a dream, deep curiosity, and little understanding of how demanding the path would be. Over the next six years, she remained consistent, disciplined, and committed to excellence.
In 2026, her years of dedication paid off as she graduated as the Best Graduating Student for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Her distinctions were recorded in the following courses Veterinary Physiology, Veterinary Biochemistry, Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Parasitology, Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Theriogenology, and Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
