An exceptional Nigerian man named Hammed Abdullah Ishola has graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, earning an outstanding 3.97/4.00 cumulative grade point average.
His remarkable performance earned him multiple awards, including the overall best graduating student, Faculty of Technology, and the best graduating student, Department of Electrical Engineering.
He graduated with First Class Honors, achieving the highest CGPA in his department and across the entire faculty.
Hammed's Story and How She Did It
Hammed’s brilliance was evident long before university. In 2018, while still in secondary school, he was one of only two Nigerian students selected to represent the country at the International Physics Olympiad, held in Lisbon, Portugal.
The competition featured 396 contestants from 90 countries and consisted of two rigorous five-hour examinations. Following his return to Nigeria, Hammed received a national award in recognition of his performance.
Upon resuming at the University of Ibadan, Hammed set a clear goal: to graduate with distinction. His academic record over four years reflects consistency and discipline.
For his first Year, he had a record of 3.91/4.00, his second Year, 3.95/4.00, his third Year, 3.97/4.00, his fourth Year, 3.96/4.00, and he ultimately graduated with an overall CGPA of 3.97/4.00.
