A brilliant Nigerian American Lady, Adeiyewunmi Osinubi who dreamt of becoming a medical doctor at the age of 9 has finally achieved her dream.

Adeiyewunmi Osinubi attended the Brown University Medical School, Rhodes Island, USA. On her 9th birthday, her parent gave her a stethoscope and white coat embroidered with her name to affirm her dream of becoming a doctor.
16 years after, she celebrated becoming a doctor in the United States of America (USA) at the age of 25. Sharing her story on Instagram, she noted that there is something incredibly powerful in having a visual representation of your dreams to look back and meditate on.
She described her mother, who is also a medical doctor as the reason for her becoming a physician and her inspiration.

During her study at Brown University, USA, Osinubi was named an Under 30 Scholar by Forbes and was recognised for her documentary addressing Black Maternal Health Disparities among black women in America.
Apart from the unending support she got from her parent, Osinubi recalled benefitting from numerous university grants, local health organizations, and personal savings to fund her medical school as well as her career in filmmaking.
