A brilliant Nigerian lady named Oluwayemisi Tawakalitu Olaoluwa has emerged as the best-graduating student of the Department of Psychology at the University of Ibadan, earning a first-class degree.
Her outstanding achievement also marks a significant milestone as she becomes the first person in her family to graduate from university.
Sharing her success on Twitter, Oluwayemisi highlighted her numerous accomplishments and the various leadership roles she held during her time at the University of Ibadan.

In addition to being the best graduating student in her department, she served as the Editor-in-Chief, Vice-President, and later the President of the Asido Campus Network.
Oluwayemisi was also recognized as a Fellow and Campus Director of the Millennium Fellowship, a Resolution Fellow, and an alumna of the prestigious Carrington Fellowship of the United States Government in Nigeria.
Reflecting on her journey, Oluwayemisi shared that she gained over five years of experience in program management, completed multiple clinical and research internships, and successfully secured and managed grants worth over $1,000 alongside her peers.
She was actively involved in student leadership, serving as a Member of the House of Representatives and the 60th Vice-President of the Faculty of Social Sciences Literary and Debating Society at the University of Ibadan.
In her gratitude message, Oluwayemisi expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported her throughout her academic journey. She also acknowledged the Asido Campus Network’s role and her family’s unwavering support in Ibadan.
