Nigerian Lady, Funmilola Aliu bags first-class in Law School, MBA same year, celebrates achievements

A brilliant Nigerian lady named Funmilola Aliu has celebrated bagging a masters degree in Business and finishing from Law School the same year.

Funmilola bagged her Master of Business Administration degree from Pan Atlantic University’s Lagos Bussiness School in 2021 the same year she was called to the Nigerian bar.

She shared her achievement on her Lunkedin highlighting all of her achievements in the year 2021. Funmilola obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Funmilola proceeded to the Nigerian Law where she finished with a first class and was called to bar as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She stated that all those periods were the best of her life s far.

She stated that earning the mini-MBA program at the Lagos Business School allowed her to learn more about business, entrepreneurship, and management. Funmilola was selected as one of the top 100 exceptional youths to participate in the program.

Funmilola said the Venture in Management Program was hosted by Junior Achievement Nigeria in conjunction with Lagos Business School, and PARTHIAN PARTNERS aimed at preparing them for the world of business as managers and entrepreneurs.

She shared in her call to Bar Post that she started the academic journey unsure of what she wanted out of life but she is thankful seven years later. Funmilola received the Director General’s Prize for First Class Students at the Nigerian Law School.

Funmilola also shared that in the same 2021, she kicked off her legal career with the ALN Nigeria | Aluko & Oyebode law firm and also made genuine connections with several people.

She said even though in the course of reaching the milestone, she was anxious, uncertain, frustrated, and tired of so many things all at the same time she was able to pull through.

Funmilola shared in another post that she was shortlisted for the Private Practice Most Promising Newcomer Award at the African Legal Awards 2023. The African Legal Awards recognize legal elites with exceptional achievement.

She stated that she is grateful for the opportunity and honored to be part of an event that showcases the outstanding talent within the pan-African legal community. Fumilola thanked the law firm of ALN Nigeria | Aluko & Oyebode where she practices, for providing her with so many opportunities to learn and grow professionally.

Funmilola said with her achievement, she is celebrating the act of pushing boundaries, overcoming obstacles, and proving that even newcomers can succeed and stand out.
