Her hard work and dedication paid off as she was inducted as a licensed Physiotherapist into the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Board of Nigeria (MRTBN). Highlighting her journey, Dorcas mentioned that she was a recipient of the Federal Scholarship Award for three academic sessions, worth ₦750,000.

She held several leadership positions throughout her time at the university, including serving as the Class Representative II for five years (2018-2024) and as an Honorable Member representing the Department of Medical Rehabilitation in the Student Union Government (SUG) House (2021-2022).
