AFRICA| A young Nigerian lady wins 3 scholarships to top US and UK universities, and celebrates achievement.
A young Nigerian Lady named Motunrayo Fatoke secured three scholarship offers to pursue a master’s degree at top universities across the United States and the United Kingdom.
Motunrayo earned three scholarship offers from George Washington University in the United States, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom.
Sharing her achievement on LinkedIn, she said she was grateful for the accomplishment. She mentioned that the University of Cambridge offered her admission to study for an MPhil in Education (Education, Globalization, and International Development).

She also earned an acceptance to study for a Master of Science in Education, Policy, and International Development from the University of Bristol, in the United Kingdom.
Out of the three offers, Motunraqyo chose The George Washington University Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration to study for her master’s degree in Public Policy.
She said the academic journey to George Washington University was made possible by the Global Leaders Award Scholarship, which recognizes young individuals with exceptional leadership qualities in their field.
Motunrayo said she is honored to have won the scholarship adding that even though the application process was challenging and demanding, she is thankful for the unwavering support of her friends, colleagues, and family, who encouraged and cheered her on throughout the journey.
She also thanked the individuals who provided stellar references that attested to her academic achievements and professional capabilities.
Motunrayo expressed her gratitude to The Education Partnership (TEP) Centre for creating an enabling environment that enabled her to thrive professionally and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s programmatic area.
She said their support and leadership were instrumental in helping her maintain a standard of excellence in all she did. Motunrayo also thanked her Associate Director, Admissions and Recruitment, who provided invaluable guidance, information, and resources throughout the application process.
As she embarks on the new chapter, Moturayo looks forward to the personal and professional growth that awaits her. She stated that being at the heart of political and policy affairs in the United States, she is excited to see how this experience will shape her.
