Despite these challenges, he remained highly motivated and, much like Oliver Twist, always wanted more. His hunger for success drove him to consistently strive for academic excellence throughout his undergraduate years.

Oluwademilade achieved top scores in multiple law courses, including Equity & Trust, Company Law, and Jurisprudence & Legal Theory.

His dedication earned him two highly coveted faculty prizes including the Dr. T. Akinola Aguda Prize – Awarded to the best graduating student in Jurisprudence & Legal Theory, where he scored 80% and the Chief Augustus Epebinu Akenroye Prize – Also awarded for excellence in Jurisprudence & Legal Theory with a score of 80%.

Beyond academics, Oluwademilade recognized the transformative power of leadership and actively sought opportunities to lead, inspire, and drive change.

He served as the Class Governor of the IfeLaw Mavens Class of 2023, representing over 350 students, and Pioneer President of the Labour Law Students Club, demonstrating his commitment to leadership and advocacy.

His passion for law extended beyond the classroom. He pursued finance-related courses and gained practical legal experience by interning at top law firms, including DealHQ Partners and The Law Crest LLP.

Through these experiences, he realized the interplay between law and finance—where finance seeks profit, and law ensures balance, a critical synergy for economic stability.

This passion led Oluwademilade to a recent internship at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria, where he explored how legal principles shape financial markets, protect stakeholders, and promote sustainable growth.

Oluwademilade expressed gratitude to his family, friends, and lecturers for their unwavering support. He also extended heartfelt appreciation to the families of Chief Akenroye and Dr. Aguda, whose enduring legacies continue to inspire young legal scholars through their academic prizes.

While celebrating his achievements, he acknowledged that his journey is not over. Oluwademilade said he would proceed to the Nigerian Law School to obtain the requisite certification to practice law in Nigeria.
