AFRICA | A brilliant Nigerian man bags first-class degree in Law at ABUAD, celebrates achievement.
A brilliant Nigerian man named Oghenevwogaga Odjugo has graduated with a first-class Bachelor of Law degree from Afe Babalola University, Nigeria.
Odjugo took to Twitter to celebrate his remarkable achievement and express his gratitude. In addition to his academic success, he also earned the prestigious Institute for Oil, Gas, Energy, Environment, and Sustainable Development Award.
He expressed his appreciation for the recognition, thanking his professors for their mentorship and guidance, and acknowledging his fellow students for keeping classes engaging.

During his time at the university, Odjugo was actively involved in numerous extracurricular activities and held several leadership roles. Notably, he served as the Chief Judge of the university’s Law Students’ Society.
On LinkedIn, he shared that he represented over 200 students on influential committees, such as the Law Week and Chamber Week Planning Committees. He also led the research team at Jus Gentium Chambers, contributing to significant legal research projects.
His leadership led the litigation team to victory at the prestigious Damilola Olawuyi, SAN, Moot Competition.
Odjugo’s involvement extended beyond academics. He oversaw the maiden edition of the ABUAD Undergraduate Law Journal as Editor-in-Chief and led impactful projects as a student-administrator in the ABUAD Law Clinic, making a positive impact on the local community.
