Nigerian Singer Teniola Apata has awarded a brand-new car to her secondary school teacher who helped her become successful many years ago.

Teniola who returned to her secondary school – Apata Memorial High School to celebrate 2022 World Teachers day acknowledged the immense contribution of her mathematics teacher who goes by the name Ofudje.
“I just wanted to appreciate your diligence, integrity and how hard you work and I decided to buy you a car,” she said.
According to a Facebook post by a staff of the school, Ofudje was Teni’s best teacher” back then in school. “Teni surprised one of our teachers today with a lexus car. Mr Ofudje taught Teni, he was her best teacher back then and she came back to appreciate him. Hard working Mr Ofudje, we celebrate you sir,” the staff explained.

In another story, Senegalese footballer, Sadio Mane has lifted members of his family and community from poverty to wealth after having a successful career abroad.
The 30-year-old footballer has always kept in touch with members of his community – about 2,000 people, despite being a star, many describe his attitude as exceptional noting that most stars do not look back to their origins once they become comfortable.
