Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo has set an outstanding record after becoming the highest-paid athlete on earth.
Cristiano Ronaldo is a 38-year-old Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Saudi Professional League club Al Nassr and the Portugal National team. He is also the captain of the both teams.
Ronaldo is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. He has won five Ballon d’Or awards and four European Golden Shoes, which is the most to be won by a European player.
He has also won 32 trophies in his career, including seven league titles, five Union of European Football Associations(UEFA)Champions Leagues, the UEFA European Championship and the UEFA Nations League.

Ronaldo was awarded the Guinness World Records Hall of Fame 2023 after smashing plenty of records both on and off the pitch and also for his contribution to the football world.
He had earlier broken the record for the most international football caps by an individual (male)in 2022 after his 196th Portugal match which was shared with another football star named Kuwait’s Bader Al-Mutawa.
Now, Ronaldo has made history by breaking his own record, surpassing Al-Mutawa, with a total of 198 giving him the most international caps ever. Guinness world record said Ronaldo achieved the number between between 20 August 2003 and 26 March 2023.
