Southwest University President Scholarship in China Details:
In order to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the people of China and the rest of the world, Southwest University offers the president scholarship to sponsor international students and scholars to undertake studies and research.
The scholarships are either Type A or Type B in category, covering the costs of tuition, healthcare, and monthly living allowances.
According to Scholarship Regulations, all international students can be covered by only one type of Scholarship when international students study in China.

Requirements for Southwest University President Scholarship in China
To be considered for the Southwest University Scholarship in China, you must satisfy the requirements below;
Grade Requirement:
- Minimum cumulative GPA is 3.0 out of 4.0 and above.
- Minimum score is 80 out of 100 and above.
B. Language Proficiency Requirement:
- Applicants must provide language certificate such as HSK, TOEFL-ibt, IELTS and prove that his or her language proficiency meets the requirements of daily communication and academic presentation in Chinese campus.
C. Not yet sponsored by any other scholarships in China.

Benefits of Southwest University President Scholarship 2026
A. Type A Scholarship covers tuition and living allowance.
- Undergraduate: CNY 1100/Month
- Graduate: CNY 1400/Month
- Ph.D.: CNY 1700/Month
B. Type B Scholarship covers tuition.
C. Both Type A and B cover Medical Insurance 800 CNY/ year. And students need to pay the accommodation fee
