Approved Program means an undergraduate program at The University of Queensland Minimum Completion Time means the minimum period of time it would take to complete the Approved Program based on enrolment in 8 units per semester 1 and semester 2 each year or 16 units per calendar year.
Students awarded the Scholarship part way through a program will hold the Scholarship for the minimum duration for completion of their current program, less the time already enrolled.

Dalio Philanthropies Scholarships was established in 2021 and is maintained by an endowed gift from the Dalio Family Fund, Inc.

Scholarship Requirements:
To be considered for the scholarship, you must be a:
- Recipients must be enrolled in an Approved Program and have completed not more than 32 units towards an Approved Program,
- intends to enrol full-time as a Commencing Student in an Approved Program.
- Approved Program means an undergraduate program at The University of Queensland.
Scholarship Duration and Reward
 A number of Scholarships may be awarded each year as tenure becomes vacant. The number of Scholarships available each year will be dependent upon the annual income.
The value of the Scholarship is $10,000 for each year it is held (excluding any periods for which the Scholarship is deferred or interrupted). Recipients may also receive a one-off payment of up to $10,000 for travel support for approved Gap Semester, exchange or internship opportunities.

Complete the application form in the UQ application portal. You will need:
- a cover letter
- a resume
- a copy of your most recent studies report from mySI-netÂ
You’ll also be asked to prepare your short video of up to 2 minutes and to respond to a few short answer questions to demonstrate how you meet the selection criteria for this scholarship.Â
Method of Application
The Scholarship will be awarded to the applicants showing greatest strength of academic and leadership achievement (or potential) as evidenced in their application and interview.
