The Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship will provide a full scholarship worth $40,000 to international students eligible to study in Australia.

Scholarship Details:
The JCU Vice-Chancellor’s International Student Scholarships provide up to a maximum of $40,000 per year for the minimum course duration.
Application for this scholarship is by invitation only, to international students enrolling in eligible programs, with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 85% or higher.

Scholarship Requirements:
To be considered for the JCU Scholarship, you must:
- hold a visa that permits study before commencing
- hold an offer for a full-time, internal program
- maintain a 6.0 GPA (for full fee waiver) or a 5.5 GPA (for partial fee waiver)

Scholarship Duration and Reward
The JCU Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship (full fee waiver) provides up to a 100% fee waiver to a maximum of $40,000 per year for the minimum course duration.
The JCU Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship (partial fee waiver) also provides a 50% partial fee waiver to a maximum of $20,000 per year for the minimum course duration.
Method of Application
Your eligibility to apply for the scholarship is automatically assessed when your course application is received.
If you are eligible to apply, you will receive an invitation to submit your scholarship application. Instructions on how to apply for the scholarship will be detailed in the email invitation.
Your application will be checked for completeness and you will receive an email confirmation. Your application will be assessed by the Selection Committee after the closing date of 18 July 2022.
Your application will be ranked against others who have applied, and if you are successful in obtaining a scholarship, you will be notified by 25 July 2022.
