The Department of Biological Sciences at the 2022 University of Alberta Masters Scholarship for eligible domestic and international students.
The University of Alberta Masters Scholarship will provide successful students with $25,197 per year for a period of three years.
Successful candidates are also eligible to apply for various other scholarships to complement the available funds throughout the period of the programme.

Scholarship Requirements:
To be considered for the University of Alberta Masters Scholarships, you must:
- Hold a BSc degree in biology, with an emphasis on botany, plant ecology, or biogeography, or a related discipline

- The Scholarship is worth $25,197 per year, with financial support coming in part from teaching assistantships), for 2.3 years.
- Candidates will be expected to also apply for additional scholarships and student grants.
