Scholarship Details:
The Scholarship is divided into 3 parts; the USM Scholarship, Dirigo Scholarship, and the President’s Scholarship.Â
All international undergraduate students that apply to the University of Southern Maine will automatically be considered for Academic Merit-Based Scholarships. Â
If the student meets the academic criteria they will be awarded a merit-based scholarship at the time of admission.

Scholarship Requirements:
To be considered for the Scholarship, you must:
- Be an international students
- Have enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at the university.
- Have applied for undergraduate degree program in accounting, history, art, science, engineering, business, IT, etc.

Scholarship Duration and Reward
- The Scholarship will give $8,000 per year for the USM Scholars
- A $10,000 worth of scholarship per year for the Dirigo Scholars
- And $12,000 worth of scholarship per year for the President’s Scholar
