AFRICA | A 21-year-old man named Nana Danquah Adjei Domson has achieved a remarkable feat, earning a a First-Class Law degree and being called to the Ghana Bar as the youngest lawyer in his graduating set.
His achievement is not only a personal victory but also the fulfillment of a dream he had since the age of 12.
Danquah's Story and How He Did It
From a young age, Danquah’s life has been defined by brilliance, faith, and discipline. He began his education at Breman Asikuma Colonel Baidoo Basic School, where he completed basic school at the tender age of 12, far ahead of most of his peers.
His exceptional intellect and commitment to learning became evident early on. By 15, he had completed his secondary education, a remarkable feat that positioned him for an early start in higher education.
In 2019, while many of his age mates were still preparing for university, Danquah secured admission into the Faculty of Law at the University of Cape Coast. At the institution, he maintained academic excellence, immersing himself in rigorous coursework and legal research.
Four years later, in 2023, his hard work paid off. Danquah graduated with First-Class Honours, an outstanding academic milestone that marked the beginning of his professional journey.
Determined to practice law at the highest level, Danquah proceeded to the Ghana School of Law, where he spent two intensive years mastering legal ethics, advocacy, and the practical aspects of law.
There, he remained consistent as a Law scholar, and in October 2025, Danquah was officially called to the Ghana Bar, earning the prestigious title of Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
Reflecting on his journey, Danquah shared an emotional post on LinkedIn, expressing gratitude and faith:
“But strengthened by grace, I marched on. Every challenge became a ladder, every obstacle a step closer to the goal. The goal remained my focus and God made it possible. I was only a vessel,” he said.
He concluded with heartfelt words that summed up his journey, declaring his new qualification. “Let me introduce you to Nana Danquah Adjei Domson, Esq. I am a testimony of God’s faithfulness, and a living reminder that God’s grace makes the impossible attainable,” he said.
