This 22-year-old lady emerged as overall best- graduating student with 3.90/4.00CGPA in Human resource

Haifaawu’s journey began in Wa, located in Ghana’s Upper West Region, where she nurtured her academic ambitions from a young age.

Her brilliance was evident early on, as she emerged as the Overall Best WASSCE Student in 2019 with an aggregate score of 9. The year after, she gained admission to the University of Cape Coast to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Human Resource Management.

From the very beginning of her university journey, Haifaawu distinguished herself academically.

Year after year, she maintained exceptional grades, earning the School of Business Dean’s Award for Overall Best Student consistently from her first year through to her third year. 

By the time she reached her final year, her hard work culminated in a remarkable 3.90 CGPA, earning her the prestigious title of Overall Best Graduating Student of the College of Humanities and Legal Studies.

She also graduated as the valedictorian, an honor reserved for students who demonstrate the highest level of academic excellence and leadership.

Reflecting on her journey, Haifaawu attributed her success to relentless dedication, hard work, and the unwavering support of her mentors, family, and friends.

She acknowledged that every challenge she faced along the way contributed to her growth and shaped her into the scholar she has become.

Now, as she looks ahead, Haifaawu is setting her sights on further studies abroad, aiming to build on her strong academic foundation and continue making meaningful impact in her field.
